Royal Air Maroc CEO Hamid Addou and SpaceX's Starlink VP of Commercial Operations Lauren Dreyer confirmed on Oct. 7 that Royal Air Maroc has selected Starlink to equip its fleet with in-flight Wi-Fi, becoming the first African airline to adopt Starlink Aviation, per Industries.ma and Infomediaire. The confirmed rollout covers 41 aircraft starting in early 2027, installed gradually to limit operational disruption, and access will be free for members of RAM's Safar Flyer loyalty programme, per Infomediaire.
