SEOPS said Aug. 17 it is adding a second dedicated Waymaker rideshare mission, repurposing a previously acquired Falcon 9 originally booked for a GTO flight into a new LEO mission to a mid-inclination orbit in 2028, per Payload and SpaceNews. President Evan Hoyt said the company's first Waymaker mission, announced in May, is now more than 90% sold out; the new mission is expected to fly before that first one.

SEOPS is positioning its dedicated rideshare program as an alternative for smallsat operators as SpaceX has reportedly stopped booking new Transporter and Bandwagon rideshare slots past late 2028, adding pressure to an already constrained launch-access market that EO and IoT operators depend on for cost-effective rides to orbit.
