Kepler Communications said its optical data relay network began delivering commercial services globally on August 24, with the first tranche of satellites completing commissioning after their January 2026 launch. The company has launched 33 satellites to date and says it operates the first commercial optical data relay constellation, offering space-to-space links, cross-plane optical tracking and space-to-ground connections through more than 10 optical ground stations, per Kepler's release carried by GlobeNewswire and reported by Via Satellite.
