AT&T Business expands Amazon Leo partnership for enterprise connectivity
AT&T · Amazon
AT&T Business is folding Amazon Leo satellite broadband into a managed fiber-5G-satellite offer for enterprise customers.

what happened
AT&T Business said Sept. 8 it has furthered its agreement with Amazon Web Services and Amazon Leo, first announced in February, focused on resilience and redundancy across terrestrial and satellite networks, expanded geographic reach in remote and rural areas, and business-grade managed services with AWS, per Via Satellite. AT&T said details on service availability, pricing and product configurations for enterprise customers will be announced in the coming months as the companies pursue a phased deployment.
why it matters
AT&T becomes the first major US telecom carrier to formally build Amazon Leo into a commercial managed offering, ahead of Amazon Leo's own start of service. For enterprise connectivity buyers and resellers, it signals LEO satellite is moving from a niche rural fallback into standard carrier network architecture, a positioning space Starlink has largely had to itself among US operators.
