what happened

Vantor selected EnduroSat to build satellite buses and provide integration services and CACI to build electro-optical payloads for its planned 24-satellite Pulse constellation, the company announced Sept. 17 at World Space Business Week. The 40cm-class satellites are designed for 15-minute revisit, with deployment expected between 2027 and 2029 and integration and testing in the US.

why it matters

Pulse adds a persistent-monitoring, tip-and-cue layer beneath Vantor's higher-resolution Vantage satellites, feeding its Tensorglobe platform. It is EnduroSat's second constellation-manufacturing win announced this week, after TrustPoint's 40-satellite PNT order, underscoring how established EO primes are outsourcing bus production to smallsat manufacturers rather than building in-house.
