Aer Lingus completes Starlink rollout across A321neo fleet
SpaceX · Aer Lingus
Aer Lingus has finished installing Starlink Wi-Fi on all its Airbus A321neo aircraft, ahead of an original 2027 fleet-wide target.

what happened
Aer Lingus has completed Starlink installation across its entire Airbus A321neo fleet, including both LR and XLR variants, per TravelUpdate. The airline began its Starlink rollout on an A330 in March 2026 and had originally set 2027 as the target for the rest of its fleet; TravelUpdate reports the remaining A330s are next. The free service is offered on transatlantic and North American routes including Cleveland, Hartford, Indianapolis, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Nashville, Newark, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Raleigh-Durham, Washington Dulles, and Shannon-JFK and Shannon-Boston services.
why it matters
Aer Lingus, part of IAG, joins a growing list of European flag carriers (Lufthansa Group's mainline, Austrian, and others) completing Starlink retrofits ahead of schedule, extending SpaceX's aviation Wi-Fi footprint in Europe and narrowing the addressable market for Viasat, Panasonic, and Amazon's forthcoming Leo aviation service.
