San Marino signs the Artemis Accords, becomes 76th signatory
human-spaceflight
San Marino's industry minister signed the Artemis Accords in Rimini, becoming the 76th signatory nation.

what happened
San Marino Minister of Industry and Technological Research Rossano Fabbri signed the Artemis Accords on behalf of the microstate in Rimini on September 25, per NASA's own release. NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson, NASA Europe representative Gregory Mann and U.S. Consul General in Florence Joseph Tordella attended the ceremony; San Marino is the 76th nation to join the accords.
why it matters
Accession itself carries no contract, but NASA has used it as a prerequisite gating partner access to lunar-surface and CLPS-adjacent opportunities, and the signing continues a run of new European and small-state signatories this month, following Croatia and Cote d'Ivoire days earlier.
