Redwire wins follow-on Axiom Space contract for second station module's solar arrays
Redwire will build two more Roll-Out Solar Array wings for Axiom Station's second module, after supplying the first.

what happened
Redwire said Axiom Space awarded it a follow-on contract to develop and deliver two Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA) wings for Axiom Station's second module, following Redwire's earlier contract to supply ROSA wings for the station's first module, which is in final assembly at Thales Alenia Space in Turin ahead of a planned 2028 launch. Redwire says it has delivered or has in development more than 65 ROSA wings across its missions.
why it matters
The award extends Redwire's role as power-systems supplier across Axiom's modular commercial station as it moves from a single module toward a four-crew-capable free-flying station, with the second module targeted to launch within a year of the first. It is a data point on Axiom's supply chain for other station-hardware bidders and for rival commercial-station programs watching how fast Axiom's vendor relationships scale.
