Speedcast completed a connectivity upgrade for Soya IT Marine Solutions, deploying a global wide area network combining Starlink and Eutelsat OneWeb dual-LEO service, Iridium Certus and LTE-based backup across 41 Wallenius Wilhelmsen roll-on/roll-off vessels, Speedcast said. Soya provided technical and operational support while Speedcast managed project delivery and remote commissioning; Wallenius Wilhelmsen operates around 125 vessels in total across 15 trade routes.
