A Long March-8A lifted off from the Hainan commercial spacecraft launch site at 9:43 p.m. on July 5 carrying the 15th group of Qianfan polar-orbit satellites, per CGTN, the 656th Long March flight. China in Space reports the group as the largest yet at 20 satellites, built by the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, bringing deployed Qianfan satellites to 238.
