Xona launches Pulsar Verified certification program for PNT receivers
Xona Space Systems
Xona introduced Pulsar Verified, certifying receivers and simulators as compatible with its Pulsar positioning satellite signal.
what happened
Xona announced Pulsar Verified, a certification program for receivers, chipsets and test equipment built to work with its Pulsar low Earth orbit positioning, navigation and timing signal. The inaugural cohort includes Trimble, Septentrio, STMicroelectronics, Safran, StarNav and Keysight; Safran's Skydel and Keysight's PNT X simulators have already achieved verification.
why it matters
A certified device ecosystem is what turns a single-satellite PNT signal into a usable GPS alternative: resellers and integrators now have a named list of receivers and simulators that work with Pulsar today, ahead of Xona's plan to add seven more satellites this year. For jamming-prone sectors like aviation, shipping and finance, it signals the company moving from a technology demo toward something equipment vendors can build against.
