The mission pairs two identical 400-kilogram satellites, built by Lockheed Martin subsidiary Terran Orbital, to demonstrate autonomous navigation, rendezvous and proximity operations in a three-body cislunar orbit, carrying an optical imaging payload from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, per NASA's own announcement.
