L3Harris Technologies said Christopher Kubasik stepped down as chairman, CEO and board member effective immediately on Aug. 17, after an independent investigation found conduct inconsistent with the company's code of conduct, per L3Harris's own release. The company said the matter was unrelated to financial reporting, controls, customer relationships or operational performance. The board named Sam Mehta, who had led the Space & Mission Systems and Communications & Spectrum Dominance segments accounting for more than 80% of company revenue, as president and CEO; Lauren Barnes and Christopher Aebli were named to lead those two segments respectively.
