what happened

All.Space received an Other Transaction agreement from the U.S. Defense Innovation Unit under its Adaptive Space Manufacturing and Integration at Scale (10ⁿ) project. The company will use its Hydra multi-orbit satcom terminal to demonstrate rapid integration, automated testing, and streamlined qualification aimed at production rates of hundreds of units a month and thousands a year. All.Space did not disclose the award's dollar value.

why it matters

DIU awards are a proving ground for commercial hardware headed toward larger Pentagon procurement, and this one targets a real bottleneck: production scaling for multi-orbit terminals as more constellations come online. All.Space, now owned by York Space Systems, picks up a defense-manufacturing credibility marker in a crowded ground-terminal market.
