SAS completes Starlink installation across its A320neo fleet
SAS · SpaceX
SAS finished fitting Starlink Wi-Fi to all 81 of its Airbus A320neo aircraft six months after starting.

what happened
SAS said Sept. 2 it completed Starlink installation on all 81 of its Airbus A320neo aircraft, about 70% of its total fleet, six months after starting the rollout in March 2026, per Inflight and Simple Flying. EuroBonus members can use the gate-to-gate connectivity at no charge. SAS chief commercial officer Paul Verhagen called it the fastest fleet-wide rollout among comparable programs; the airline plans to extend Starlink to its remaining aircraft types, including A319s, A320s, A321neos, A330s, A350s, ATR 72s, Boeing 737s, and Bombardier regional jets, before year-end.
why it matters
SAS is one of a growing list of carriers (Delta, United, Qatar Airways, and others) that have moved from pilot to fleet-wide Starlink Aviation deployment inside a year, evidence the in-flight-connectivity market SpaceX entered in 2022 is now converting quickly rather than staying stuck in trial phase.
