LatConnect 60 · NewSpace India Limited · GeoSyze EO Solutions
LatConnect 60 signed an NSIL ground-station agreement and a GeoSyze channel partnership to expand its SWIRSAT business into India.

what happened
Australian Earth observation company LatConnect 60 signed an agreement with NewSpace India Limited, the commercial arm of India's space program, for telemetry, tracking and command services for its SWIRSAT-1 and SWIRSAT-2 satellites, due to launch in Q1 and Q2 2027 respectively, giving the mission access to NSIL's ground-station infrastructure for operations and data downlink, the company said. LatConnect 60 also signed GeoSyze EO Solutions LLP as a channel partner to sell its Earth observation and future short-wave-infrared data to Indian defence, security and intelligence customers. Both deals were announced at the Bengaluru Space Expo on Sept. 7, per LatConnect 60 and SiliconIndia.
why it matters
The NSIL deal ties LatConnect 60's SWIR constellation, which targets 18 satellites by 2029 and more than 100 by 2035, to India's own ground infrastructure, while GeoSyze gives it a route into India's defence and intelligence market ahead of its first satellites reaching orbit.
