Unseenlabs launches BRO-23 and BRO-32, growing fleet to 25 satellites
Unseenlabs flew a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 RF-detection satellite together for the first time, bringing its constellation to 25 spacecraft.

what happened
Unseenlabs said it successfully launched BRO-23 and BRO-32 aboard SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base on October 1, per the company's own release. BRO-23 is a Gen 1 nanosatellite adding capacity to the maritime RF-surveillance constellation, while BRO-32 is a Gen 2 microsatellite covering the L, S, C and X frequency bands, enabling detection, identification, geolocation and characterization of a wider variety of RF emitters across maritime, land and space environments. The company said it was the first time a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 satellite reached orbit together on a single mission, and the launch brings its constellation to 25 satellites; Exolaunch integrated the satellites for the flight.
why it matters
A maturing dual-generation fleet gives Unseenlabs broader frequency coverage to sell beyond its original maritime-vessel-tracking niche into land, space and dual-use RF intelligence, the same expansion path as its Gen 2 debut in July. More satellites and bands sharpen its competitive position against other RF-sensing operators such as HawkEye 360 and Kongsberg-backed efforts chasing the same defense and maritime-domain-awareness customers.
