Nvidia makes minority investment in satellite maker Reflex Aerospace

Jensen Huang disclosed the stake, size undisclosed, as part of a wider Nvidia push into German AI startups.

what happened
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang disclosed a minority investment in Berlin-based satellite manufacturer Reflex Aerospace during a conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at Germany's Invest in Germany Summit on October 19, without detailing the investment's size. Reflex Aerospace is one of four German startups named in Nvidia's wider AI-investment push in the country, alongside Agile Robots, Avelios Medical, and Mirelo. Via Satellite and Aviation Week report the investment will help Reflex scale production of its satellite platforms, which the company says can go from order to launch readiness in about 12 months.
why it matters
Reflex Aerospace already builds buses for Rafael's imaging constellation and for Orbital's orbital data center; a strategic Nvidia stake signals the chipmaker wants a direct foothold in satellite manufacturing capacity, not just in the onboard AI compute its chips already power on other operators' spacecraft.
