Lite Coms launches GT3 terminal for simultaneous multi-LEO connectivity
Lite Coms
Lite Coms' new GT3 vehicle terminal connects to Starlink and OneWeb alongside 5G and LTE at the same time.

what happened
Lite Coms unveiled the Lite Sat GT3, a ruggedized vehicle-mounted flat-panel terminal built from commercial off-the-shelf hardware that can connect to multiple LEO satellite networks plus 5G and LTE simultaneously, per Via Satellite and Soldier Systems Daily. Chief Strategy Officer Andrew Colaruotolo told Via Satellite the terminal operates on Starlink and OneWeb alongside terrestrial networks, giving users multiple transport paths rather than locking them into one provider, and said the company currently manufactures a similar single-network antenna at a rate of 30 terminals a week. Per Soldier Systems Daily, the terminal is housed in machined aluminum with military-grade connectors, supports automatic failover via embedded 5G, and is available for immediate delivery.
why it matters
A multi-network terminal built from COTS hardware rather than proprietary technology gives government and defense buyers a cheaper way to avoid depending on a single LEO constellation as more networks come online; for Starlink and OneWeb, ground equipment that treats their networks as interchangeable transport paths is a reminder that terminal makers, not just satellite operators, will shape how government customers actually buy LEO connectivity.
