LandSpace Technology Corporation is a Chinese commercial space launch provider based in Beijing, founded in 2015 by Zhang Changwu. Its Zhuque-2 rocket became the world's first methane-fueled launch vehicle to reach orbit after a successful second flight on 12 July 2023, following a maiden flight in December 2022 that fell short of orbit. The company's earlier solid-fuel Zhuque-1 failed to reach orbit on its October 2018 debut, and LandSpace is now developing the larger, reusable Zhuque-3.
