ICEYE raises EUR 450 million Series F led by General Atlantic at over EUR 10 billion
ICEYE's primary Series F values the SAR operator above EUR 10B; the full round tops EUR 1B with a secondary placement.

what happened
ICEYE says it raised EUR 450 million (USD 520 million) in a primary Series F round led by General Atlantic, at a valuation of over EUR 10 billion (USD 12 billion). The company says the total Series F exceeds EUR 1 billion together with a secondary placement, with additional investors including Solidium, Tesi, Varma, Ilmarinen, Lifeline Ventures, Nokia, Qatar Investment Authority, and TCV. On August 5, ICEYE said EQT's Scaleup Europe Fund, a fund established by the European Commission with European investors, co-led the round alongside General Atlantic, the fund's first-ever investment; the tranche remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
why it matters
A double-digit-billion valuation for a European SAR operator resets the pricing ceiling for EO companies and confirms sovereign-intelligence demand as the sector's growth story: ICEYE says seven European governments have procured sovereign satellite systems from it. For competing SAR and optical operators, the round signals that defence-driven capital is available at scale outside the US.
