Neuraspace announced August 5 that it raised EUR 15.6 million (USD 18 million), combining a EUR 6 million Series B round from Lince Capital, Explorer Investments, and Armilar Venture Partners with EUR 9.6 million from Portugal's EU-backed Recovery and Resilience Plan, per SpaceNews. The Portuguese space traffic management startup says the funds will expand its NeuraspaceDEF platform for government and defense users and add proprietary radar sensors alongside its existing optical telescopes. Neuraspace has now raised about EUR 29 million since its 2020 founding and says it monitors more than 600 satellites for customers including Spire Global and the European Space Agency.
