Marlink said Aug. 11 it signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Global RadioData Communications Ltd (GRC), a Hereford, UK-based defense communications specialist that designs and supports satellite, RF, cloud and IP networking systems, with a deal expected to close later in August. GRC adds about £35 million in annual revenue and 30 employees and will keep operating under its own brand, per Via Satellite.
