Seraphim invests $30 million more in satellite-Bluetooth firm Hubble
Seraphim Space · Hubble Network
Seraphim Space Investment Trust put a further $30 million into satellite-Bluetooth network operator Hubble Network.

what happened
Seraphim Space Investment Trust (SSIT) invested $30 million in Hubble Network, funded from the proceeds of its GBP 137 million C Share issue, the companies said Aug. 18, per Via Satellite and LSE.co.uk. Hubble, an existing Seraphim Space Venture Fund II portfolio company, operates a satellite network that lets standard Bluetooth Low Energy chips connect directly to space without cell towers, gateways or custom hardware; it has seven satellites in orbit and says its terrestrial device network spans more than 100 million access points. The investment pushed SSIT's C Share deployment past the GBP 40 million threshold that triggers a partial conversion of C Shares into ordinary shares, per LSE.co.uk.
why it matters
Hubble's direct-to-device Bluetooth approach targets asset tracking, logistics and industrial monitoring customers who want existing off-the-shelf Bluetooth hardware to work in dead zones without new chips or gateways, a lower-friction pitch than cellular-standard direct-to-device rivals. The follow-on round, after a $70 million Series B in September 2025, signals continued investor appetite in the IoT/direct-to-device segment even without a newly disclosed valuation.
