HyImpulse extends Series A round by 50 million euros
HyImpulse
The German launch company adds 50 million euros to its Series A, taking total funding past 125 million euros.

what happened
HyImpulse announced Sept. 2 that it extended its Series A funding round by more than 50 million euros, co-led by JOIN Capital and Ace Capital Partners, with North Ventures, BW-Capital, Bayern Kapital, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and returning investor Campus Founders Ventures also participating. The extension takes total Series A equity to 65 million euros and the company's total funding, combining equity and public funding, to more than 125 million euros, per European Spaceflight, Electronics Weekly, and Startbase.
why it matters
HyImpulse is preparing the second commercial flight of its suborbital SR75 rocket from SaxaVord Spaceport before year-end and the maiden flight of its SL1 orbital vehicle (up to 600 kg to LEO) in 2027. The new capital, alongside a stated order book of more than 350 million euros, backs one of several German entrants racing to give Europe a second sovereign small-launch option beyond Isar Aerospace and RFA.
