Sanyark Space raises $2 million pre-seed for NAV-COM satellites
Sanyark Space
Bengaluru startup Sanyark Space raised a $2 million pre-seed round to build a satellite navigation-and-IoT constellation.

what happened
Sanyark Space, co-founded by former ISRO scientist Akhileshwar Reddy and Masters' Union student Raghava Kundrapu, raised $2 million in a pre-seed round led by Avaana ($1.5 million) with AUM Ventures contributing $500,000, per Dealroom. The Bengaluru-based startup is developing a software-defined LEO satellite constellation combining precision navigation and secure IoT communication on a single platform, called NAV-COM, targeting both defense and commercial customers.
why it matters
It's a small, early-stage round, but it adds another Indian entrant to the dual-use nav-plus-IoT satellite category alongside larger players like Kepler and other ISRO-linked ventures, at a time India is actively opening its space sector to private capital.
