Simera Sense and Spacemanic bundle camera, bus and deployer into one EO package
Simera Sense · Spacemanic
Simera Sense and Spacemanic are combining a camera, a CubeSat bus and a deployer into one ready-to-fly dual-use imaging package.

what happened
Belgian imager maker Simera Sense and Czech satellite builder Spacemanic announced Nov. 3 that they are collaborating to integrate Simera Sense's xScape200 Dual-Use camera with Spacemanic's 16U CubeSat platform and SPACE CANNON deployer into a single mission solution, per SpaceNews. The xScape200 DU camera has a 12U form factor with low size, weight and power; the deployer is built to accommodate payloads with protruding elements; the combined package is compatible with launch vehicles including Falcon 9, Ariane 6 and Vega-C.
why it matters
Pre-integrated camera-and-bus packages shorten the path from payload selection to launch for buyers who cannot justify a larger spacecraft, including commercial and defense customers wanting dual-use imaging. It is a small sign of consolidation in the European smallsat EO supply chain around fewer, pre-paired component combinations.
