The British Government Commercial Agency selected Open Cosmos as a certified partner on the TacSys (Tactical Communication System) framework, a procurement vehicle worth up to £8 billion running until June 2034 that channels Ministry of Defence secure-communications work to vetted private suppliers. Open Cosmos will offer satellite connectivity through its ConnectedCosmos low Earth orbit constellation, which combines broadband and direct-to-device IoT over optical inter-satellite links.

why it matters
