KSAT / organization

KSAT operates as a global space services company across two focus areas: ground network services, providing satellite communication infrastructure such as data acquisition, telemetry, tracking and command across a global network of several hundred antennas at over 40 ground station locations, and Earth observation services delivering monitoring and imagery analysis for environmental tracking, land monitoring, and maritime surveillance. The company employs over 600 people and operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year. KSAT is equally owned by Space Norway AS and Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace AS.
